Wayne Halfway House Celebrates 2026 High School Graduates

Sixteen youth residents of programs managed by Wayne Halfway House Inc. have received their high school diplomas or the equivalent so far in 2026.  

Standing Tall Music City and Duck River Youth Center each have graduated five young people since the beginning of the year. Hollis Academy/Wayne Youth Academy graduated six youth in July, in a ceremony conducted in the newly constructed Michael Gymnasium.  

“Our mission is to care for, encourage and inspire each and every kid that comes into our care, and education is one of the most important elements of that care,” said Jason Crews, president and CEO of Wayne Halfway House Inc.  

“These graduation ceremonies are special for all of our youth and staff,” Crews added. “These young people have worked diligently to overcome their tribulations and past mistakes and rise above their circumstances. It’s so important to celebrate their successes and reward their hard work.”
